MikroTik RouterBoard RB2011UiAS-RM

The RB2011 is a low cost multi port device series. Designed for indoor use, and available in many different cases, with a multitude of options.

The RB2011 is powered by RouterOS, a fully featured routing operating system which has been continuously improved for fifteen years. Dynamic routing, hotspot, firewall, MPLS, VPN, advanced quality of service, load balancing and bonding, real-time configuration and monitoring – just a few of the vast number of features supported by RouterOS.

RouterBOARD 2011UiAS-RM, in comparison with RB2011L series, not only has five Gigabit LAN ports and five Fast Ethernet LAN ports, but also has RJ45 serial port, USB port and more RAM (128MB instead of 64MB). Also, it has RouterOS L5 license (instead of L4) and nice touchscreen LCD for configuration. SFP cage is also present (SFP module not included!)

There is PoE output function for port #10 – it can power other PoE capable devices with the same voltage as applied to the unit. Maximum load on the port is 500mA.

Tested and recommended to use with MikroTik SFP modules: S-85DLC05D, S-31DLC20D and S-35/53LC20D (not included)

RouterBOARD 2011UiAS-RM comes with 1U rackmount enclosure, LCD panel and power supply.

Low cost, flexible routing

The MikroTik RouterBOARD RB2011UiAS-RM is a 10-port router and the perfect low-cost device for less demanding applications. Featuring 5x Gigabit Ethernet, 5x Fast Ethernet ports and an SFP cage, and equipped with a 600MHz Atheros CPU and 128MB RAM the RB2011 has the flexibility to be installed into any network environment.

The MikroTik RB2011UiAS-RM also features PoE out on Port 10 enabling you to power an external device, such as a IP CCTV camera or even another RouterBoard device. A built-in touchscreen LCD screen allows for easy configuration and monitoring of the router’s performance.

RouterOS Installed

MikroTik RouterBOARD RB2011UiAS-RM comes preinstalled with the powerful RouterOS software and a Level 5 licence. The level 5 licence provides perpetual access to all the features available in RouterOS including: dynamic routing, hotspot, firewall, MPLS, VPN, advanced quality of service, load balancing and bonding, and real-time configuration and monitoring.

Easy and Fast Connectivity

The RouterBoard 2011UiAS-RM now has 5 LAN ports along with 5 fast Ethernet ports. What’s more, you can make use of an RJ45 connector for the serial port and a micro USB port. In other words, you can design different types of network schemes with this router board. You can go from something simple to something more intricate or complex, serving various network users and sharing bigger content without compromising the speed and performance of the Internet.

Quick Configuration

Along with the power supply, the Mikrotik RB2011UiAS-RM’s package includes a rack-mount enclosure. There’s also an SFP cage, so the only thing to think about is the module. There’s an LCD panel that’s touch screen so you won’t have a hard time configuring the device. It also has an auto-MDI/X capability, which means it adjusts itself depending on what cable wires you attach. There’s no need to guess or go through trial and error when it comes to cables.

Great Support

The router board is fitted with the Level 5 RouterOS, which gives you a month of excellent initial configuration support from MikroTik. You can also set up the router board into a wireless access point and bridge and enjoy 500 PPPoE, L2TP, and PPTP tunnels, as well as unlimited OVPN and VLAN interface support. Other benefits include 500 hotspot active users, support for RADIUS clients, unlimited queues, unlimited KVM guests, 50 user manager active sessions, and support for RIP, BGP, and OSPF protocols. It is equipped with 128MB RAM, NAND Flash, and Atheros AR9344 running on 600MHz.
