The Mikrotik Cloudcore Router CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+ now features only fully independent Ethernet ports each with a direct connection to the CPU, allowing to overcome previous shared 1Gbit limitation from switch-chip ports and utilize full potential of CPU processing power on those ports.
Combo-port – a single 1Gbit software interface that has two hardware interfaces – an SFP cage and a Gigabit Ethernet port, allowing you to use any type of connection available to you. It is also possible to switch between both physical interfaces in RouterOS. In an event of a disconnect, the combo-port provides a hardware fail-over feature.

The combination of a blazing fast Tilera CPU, 2GB of RAM and full independent Ethernet ports allows the CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+ to achieve a throughput of 18Gbps. The unit also comes equipped with dual redundant power supplies, so you can be sure your core routing infrastructure is always available when its needed most.

The combo SFP/Gigabit Ethernet port has two hardware interfaces enables you to use whichever type of connection is available to you. The CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+ also features a unique hardware failover feature on these ports providing redundancy if a connection was to fail.
Other features include a touchscreen LCD, PoE In support, a microUSB type AB port and an RS232 serial port.
RouterOS Installed
The MikroTik Cloud Core Router CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+ comes preinstalled with their powerful RouterOS software and Level 6 license. The Level 6 license never expires allows unrestricted use of RouterOS, allowing unlimited EoIP, PPOE, PTPP, L2TP, and OVPN tunnels and well and unlimited VLAN interfaces.
